    This isn’t the first and probably won’t be the last iteration of a 3D printed ashtray drink holder conversion. Still allows the lid to close (can be a bit finicky so I need to tweak the model a bit). But was asked about photos so here are a few. Printed on a Bambu filament printer with glas carbon fiber filament. Tried a (Gormlabs) resin printer but the Bambu result was superior.

    Have to be careful when shifting in/out of 5th or 6th gear…. It’s easy to bump the drink.

    I will share the .stl file, but it’ll be a week or so before I can do it. Traveling this week and next week and need my computer to get at the file…

    Looks great! There was a carbon finish drink holder you could buy but it did not keep the lid function (swapped in for the hole ash tray assembly).

    If still optimzing you may consider tweaking the angle so drinks are aligned with the vertical better given the ash tray is at an angle.

    Auraraptor, the idea of leaning it is something I considered but chose not to do because a “straight” cylindrical cans and bottles just barely misses the Ferrari lid as designed. Tapered cups actually contact the lid, but fortunately they still fit because the can bend. But angling the opening would make the issue worse and even cans and straight bottles would hit the lid in its fully opened position.
