In the course of doing some general maintenance I removed the Aspera HG 1000 ac compressor and drained the oil (it didn't have enough, that I can tell). It appears this is a 10cc 2 cyl that is probably built under license from Tecumseh. The 10cc compressor is used with the dual ac and an HG 500 (which I'd guess is 5cc) is used with the single ac.

I'm getting ready to button everything back up (have a new dryer) and will continue to use R12. I can't find how much oil to put in the compressor. Anyone have a clue? The factory manual is a great help, it says if you put in a new compressor be sure to put oil in it. That's it!

I searched Ferrarichat, the web, etc. with no luck.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
