Does anyone have the torque for the rod cap bolts in the Aspera / York A/C compressor?

I found a York service manual (automotive) online, but the torque chart did not include the rod caps. I found a commercial service manual that did give the torque. The size of the bolt was given and it is the same as the automotive, but I am not sure what the rod material is.

I will feel pretty confident about using the given spec (8-12 ft / lbs) unless someone has better information.

    Thanks.

I am in same boat. '84 400i GT with R12. Diagnosis is "clutch is slipping." Not sure exactly what that means (belt?). Anyway, I wish to maintain R12 (I HATE the feds) and thus looking for a shop that will accommodate my wishes. What was your outcome and any advice you may have.
