Good Evening and Happy New Year. I am finalizing a purchase on a 1995 F355 that I found in Landorthe. The car looks good and I will be catching a flight to view the car next Monday. I should be able to know what to look for in the car, however it was suggested to me by many Ferrari experts to perform a compression test and a leak down test before confirming the purchase. Does anyone know of a mechanic/ferrari technician around Landorthe that could perform this job for me before I purchase the car ? On site or at his garage if the dealer accepts ofcourse. your help is greatly appreciated as this would be my first Ferrari
Believe it or not Modena Sport in Balma just told me that they will not perform a compression test for me as it is to complicated although they charge €115/hr + vat. If an official Ferrari workshop don’t do it who does ? What do you do when you buy used Ferraris ?
I am not surprised ! And when we need, we go to independent garages who know these cars. The fact is, I am far from Toulouse and I got no clue for these garages. Did you ask on a French web site like Ferrarista.club ? Where are you from ? If you cannot, I can ask for you.

Did you ask to the vendor ? This test could help him with the sale even you don't buy it. Do you have any link of ad for this car ?
