I found 3 different ref. in the 206 body parts catalogue... 1 for the front hood, one for the engine's, and one for the rear.... As I only have 1 on my car, was just wondering whetehr there are indeed the same part ??? Any help Please ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, was speaking about the alloy mechanical lever that keeps the hoods open (on the lower left art of the pic). Thx.
Actually I believe RHD cars used a different part since their support brackets are on the right hand side of the car. Bracket for LHD would fit RHD but would have to be flipped and then the latching part faces down and not up. I know, because I replaced my trunk support bracket (not car's original) which was this way. I acquired what was the last available correct one from McCann's...it was PN 20021903
RHD or LHD should not make a different in a 206 parts catalogue? BTW many UK Cars as Triumph T$-6 etc. have at least similar parts.
I bought replacements from mossmotors.com. Took a couple tries, but eventually I got the right ones. Unfortunately, I don't recall the part number, but if you're in the US, a call to BRG motor parts, (ask for Jim) have the dimensions, he'll help you find the right one. http://www.brgparts.com/
http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/SearchResults.aspx?SearchText=,%20trunk%20lid&WebCatalogID=8 They are nice parts, but not quite the same. Of course they will do, unless you are looking for originals. The originals, are also available from a very nice fellow in Lebanon that regularly posts on e-bay. Alberto
Thx Alberto. As regards the Lebanese provider, I bought from him 3 years ago the electrical windows switches for my BB.
Some are silver plated some are cadmium plated. Can you buy some for me in the silver? The fellow in Lebanon sells them for about $60ea. Regards, Alberto
My Fellow Italian only sells cadmium plated ones. And they are more expensive. So, you know the solution. But I know another one who maybe can sell for a little bit less than in Lebanon.... I've made a proposal cause I do need 3 for mine.
