Aston Martin is working on the Ladonda SUV again. Possibly the best new is that it shouldn't look like the creature that debuted in 2009:

The new Lagonda is supposed to use the G-Class chassis, so this time it might be more Lamborghini LM002 and less Lamborghini Urus :D

What is it with luxury car makers coming up with gawd-awful looking SUVs? (Bentley, Aston, Porsche, Lamborghini)

The benchmark is the Range Rover. NO ONE yet has been able to create an SUV more appealing.

I don't know, I like Mercedes, Audi, and Infiniti SUVs, and too be honest I don't find the Porsche cayenne too awful.

No one yet, I agree. Land Rover offers vehicles that handle so well in all occasions (and are the best in off-road situations). The Range Rover Sport (I had one until recently) is such a beauty in its category (SUV). And the new 2013 big Range Rover looks amazing and comes with such an incredible package and technology.

The Porsche Cayenne offers a great powertrain (especially the Turbo version) but it is ugly (not my cup of tea, even if it has a Porsche badge).

However, RR may have some serious competition in the near future, first starting with the Maserati Cinqueporte. It should be a sexy stylish SUV with a luxurious interior and a powerful engine built at the Ferrari factory as usual.

Models from Lamborghini and others may be great too (there is defintely a growing market for such prestigious vehicles), the drawings/pictures we see so far are not final. I truly hope the Bentley version would not be as ugly as what we've seen so far (even a Cayenne would look sexy in comparison). Infiniti, MB, Audi, ... look bland, nothing special.

Looks like they have used the Bentley mulsanne designer to do the rear of the car.

    The Mercedes G is timeless.

The big Infiniti is ok. The Audi is kind of bland.
