Anyone have an est. on what a 2005 db9 is worth with under 1000 miles? Also, do you think the db9s prices will drop after the vantages come out? Thanks

It won't. They each target different client segments. On the margin, there might be a slight tapering off on demand as those on the fence decide to switch positions, but nothing that will cause a rapid decline in price.

Bu tthey are depreciating healthily. Sub 3k mile cars can be had for 130-135.

AM depreciation is AM depreciation, and that is something ever owner should know going in. It amazes me how much these cars fall in price as soon as you drive 'em off the dealer lot. Pity, for I hear the DB9 is quite an improvement over its predecessors.

My point simply was that the introduction of the AMV8 won't really do much to affect the slope of what is already a rather steep curve.

i don't see how the V8 Vantage's introduction will make the V12 DB9's prices drop.

supposedly the V8 starts at $110k. you see 05 DB9's now at $130-150k.
a well optioned V8 Vantage (and the options add up quickly) can be around $120k. and we have not even talked about stealer markups especially at the new model's initial launch.

if anything, the V8 Vantage will support the prices of V12 DB9's now.

if i were to pay $125k+ on a new 06 V8 Vantage, i might as well pay a little more for an 1 year old 05 V12 DB9.

What do you guys think that the db9 will bottom out at... some of them list clear into the 190's (volante)... will there be a time(say next year/year and a half) that we might see a volante in the low 120's???
