Its the MAKE or BREAK car/truck for ASTON...… Mark this day down....This will be the end. 192,000 before most options and taxes, forgetting tarrifs. Oh well..... Again looking towards the millennial market, a v8 , 200 grand anything will not sell. They are banking on 3,500 trucks A YEAR to make a profit... gtjoey1314 Sadly Well taking my DB4 for a run.....
My initial thought is that the proportions look solid and it's way better looking than the Urus. If they can sell that thing then there must be hope. The most direct competition appears to be the Cayenne turbo and the Bentayga. This will require strong lease options to keep them moving.
It's alright. Not ugly but not pretty. I dont see a reason to buy it unless you are an Aston die hard. If i am a random soccer mom or regular $500k a year Joe, id probably go with the Cayenne Turbo S or Range.
there is nothing about it to distinguish it in the market. its nice in a generic way like a lexus is nice. but problem is it costs 200k, not 50k like a lexus. uris is at least interesting design and gets around a track faster than a sports sedan so it also is an interesting drive
whaaat? cannot believe that number. they will sell more rapides than suvs at that rate. crazy. and if ferrari is paying any attention, their suv should be at 500k if am is asking 3ook
Im just making sure that's right, It probably is but lets check.... that's the truck in silver with black interior with the red stitching and the carbon fiber.
RIP Aston Martin. They needed this and screwed up big time based on what I see. Very generic. Nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. No interesting features.
When I first saw it, I thought it was a Mazda SUV. Admittedly, that was before my morning espressi...T
This might be the only modern Aston Martin I would gladly buy, in Onyx Black and several other options. At least they managed to make a good-looking interior. As for the design, all cars today look the same, the DBX's facia is what the Cayenne Turbo should have looked like.

Like to see in person to form an opinion. Let's hope it is successful. AML cannot afford more negative cash flow.
Personally I think it looks pretty nice compared to Cayenne and Urus. The latter two share too much design language with Audi Q7/8, in terms of interior. I understand that Aston Martin uses Mercedes infotainment system, but the interior design is still an AM, which is not bad. As for performance, AM is never the top performance car in any category, besides 001, 002 and 003.
