...but how many laps can it do? Battery tends to overheat on the last sector already.

Lawrence Stroll aspiring to be the Jerry Jones of F1 but nowhere as sharp as Jerry . As long as Stroll is at the helm of AM , I highly doubt the team will achieve anything besides bleeding cash .
I wonder how long it will take for his partners to get disillusioned with his management style .

Seb leaving will be a good thing, IMO. They need a good driver in that team, though I don’t really care to see them move forwards—someone needs to be the back marker, so why not AM.

As for Stroll Sr., with the valuations of F1 teams climbing all the time and with their restrictions on new teams, he’ll probably still make a killing if and when he sells the team.

He will need the team value to offset the 'road turtle' division lol :)

Has been in trouble for quite a while now , not an easy solution to revive AM , will cost billions but I don’t believe throwing money at it is enough , need the right vision .

I don't see a future for the road car division. Possibly a manufacturer will slap an AM badge on an EV before calling it quits?

I agree with you , besides their halo cars, the rest is blah . They always seem to be a couple notches behind their competitors and their depreciation is so steep that most buyers would rather stick with a proven brand .
I remember when the Vanquish S came out , gorgeous car and fabulous sound even tough a bit underpowered , I walked into the dealership and the sales manager offers me 100k off MSRP without me asking .

The decline started when Palmer was CEO.
He was obsessed in bringing mid-engine to the range and wasted a lot of money to do this.
He then tried to turn Aston into a public company listed on the Stock Exchange, and the share issue was a complete flop.
That's when Lawrence Stroll came with new investors and rescued Aston.
But I don't think his management is very good; he is out of touch with reality.
The Vantage and DB11 aren't bad, and the DBX sells quite well.
The F1 venture will not add anything to Aston Martin's appeal.

Change at Aston Martin (car company)

Autocar announces that Tobias Moers, the CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd will be leaving after just 2 years in that position.

Moers had previouly been CEO at AMG; he will be replaced by Amadeo Felisa already a board member .

Felisa was previously CEO at Ferrari, until 2016.
