    I am looking at a V8 Vantage at a dealer in Mundelein. Does anyone know of a reputable source for a third-party PPI? I live in Mississippi, so would like to get a thorough inspection done before decide if I want to fly up and drive back vs. shipping. Thanks guys!

    LFSC. They're the authorized Aston dealer here in the Chicagoland area and many happy clients.

    As an aside I've always loved the V8 Vantage and felt they're one of the better values you can have today. Hope it works out!

    Try Euroquipe in St. Charles. I've always trusted them with my exotic ppi's.

    So I called LFSC and the guy told me they do not do PPI's. Said it was "against their policies".

    I haven't tried Euroquipe....anyone have further recommendations for them? Do they have much experience with Astons? They don't have them listed as one of the marques they service on their website.

    They don't? Weird, they're the main Aston dealer. Whenever someone asks for a PPI, everyone recommends Euroquipe. Unsure. You should call them, though.

    Yeah, I thought it was weird too. I called Euroquipe and they do work on Astons and said they are more than happy and able to do a PPI on one. The guy I talked to said one of their techs has been to the factory school in England and is fully Aston trained. He said Euroquipe does not have full electronic diagnostic equipment for Astons, so that is the reason they do not advertise as being an Aston service center. They seemed very nice, and the price for a PPI at $249 very reasonable.

    So, that said, I am thinking very seriously about making an offer on the car. It is being offered by Elite Motors in Mundelein. Does anyone here happen to have any experience with them? They have 100% positive feedback on ebay but pretty mixed reviews on places like yelp and google. I just want someone straightforward and to not get bombarded with BS add on "service fee" crap.

    I would never rely on Yelp or Angie's List in particular,they favor bad reviews most of the time while editing or not posting good ones.
    Unless the company in question chooses to pay their hefty advertising fees.
    Nothing but scammers living off real businesses like parasites they really are.......

    Check with Napleton Aston Martin in Downers Grove, IL. They may be able to help you out with a PPI.

    Napelton Aston Martin in Downers Grove? I know Napelton Porsche in Westmont but was unaware of any Aston dealer near me. Is this new?
