Looks pretty cool for a production version ! http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/15/spy-shot-aston-martin-rapide/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't particulary like it. Yes, it is gorgeous in prinicple, but it looks as if it was one of their coupes with two additional doors.
It's a bout [pun intended] time. Just think of it - a modern Aston with actual leg and headroom in the rear.
I dont know. I want to say I really like it, but all it is, is the same design as the DB9 but with two extra doors. It looks really good, but AM could have tried harder.
Wow, basically a stretched DB9! For approx. $100k+ more than that DB9, I'd expect some distinctive styling... perhaps even some styling cues of the DBS. Shared vehicle architecture/platform is perhaps more befitting a range of vehicles produced en'masse, ala' Ford/GM/Toyota/Nissan/etc'. It makes more economic sense for them, and gives them more of a global presence. However, $150k+ automobiles should feel more special and be more distinctive... IMHO! Hopefully Ferrari will never ever succumb to such!
Guys, chill out. It isn't a production model, it's a mule. When you see a Rapide at an auto show in full production trim we can nit pick, but right now just accept it for what it is, Aston's attempt to make a liveable 4 seater. Peter Hatch.
It's definitely a mule but at this stage of testing styling is already closed stage (except maybe few details).
