Moers added that there is market demand for "additional derivatives" of the Valkyrie, but offered no further details as to what they could be. Source : https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/aston-martin-plots-mercedes-powertrain-revised-valhalla
Aston Martin could cut bespoke V6 engine from future plans Hybridised six-cylinder unit was set to debut in Valhalla, but AMG partnership could make it redundant https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/aston-martin-could-cut-bespoke-v6-engine-future-plans .
Okay You were right. By the way I am surprised how little enthusiasm there is to this car vs the T.50. The aero design of this car is cutting edge and the engine and weight spec is top notch in its category. NA v12 with screaming sound should at least be appealing to many of the purists on this forum no?
I think the "lack of enthusiasm" comes from the fact that Valkyrie has been announced since 2016, the hype has dissipated a bit since then. But since we're so close to the official release I think it's going to pick up again.
such a crazy design inside out. i am sold on the look alone. imo much better looking the t.50 or amg one by some miles. most exciting design since laferrari.
No, no I was talking about real spyshots not official factory pictures. Usually when a car is close to be delivered we can see a lot of camouflaged mules going around but with the Valkyrie nothing like that! Bizarre isn’t it ?
Probably because the car isn't really feasible to use on public roads lol. I doubt many owners will take it out on public roads so they're practicing the car for how it will be used in the real world.
It does seem so. The doors are way too tiny and you have to put your shoes on the seat to get in lol. Also there isn't a window that can be open as well. The ground clearance doesn't seem too extreme and I am sure the active suspension will at least help a little bit on ramps or bumpy road. Having said that, I have no doubt we will see some running around europe when they are ready. To the guy saying there isn't any test mule. I think we will see some very soon.

Third variant incoming. "He said that the expansion will start with the launch of the Valkyrie hypercar in the second half of this year in road and track forms, before a third variant – likely to be a convertible – follows in 2022." Still looks like it's from the future. Similar to the LaFerrari still looking way futuristic even though designed in the 2000s and released early 2010s.
Drophead Version of the Valkyrie confirmed for 2022. "Then there are three versions of the V12 Valkyrie (road and track cars this year, drophead in 2022)" Link: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/features/ill-let-cars-do-talking-tobias-moers-running-aston-martin
