Does anyone here own a Vanquish? A buddy and I were setting our "goals" for next year and he was telling me that one of his goals is to own a Gallardo...I started thinking about it, and I have ALWAYS loved Astons. (Dare I say they are my favorite car of all time?!?!?!?!!!!) Having said that, I started doing a little research and realized that the prices of the earlier Vanquishes are in the same range as mid-90s era Diablos (the car that I was originally focusing on). Armed with this new revelation, my goal has changed from purchasing a early 90s era Diablo to obtaining an early model Aston Martin Vanquish. The question is simply: Do you enjoy your Aston? I am not really concerned with maintenance costs, etc. This is purely an emotional, lust driven purchase and as such, I am prepared to pay the cost of admission. Having said that, any input as to reliability & quirks is nontheless greatly appreciated.
I hate to say it but do a search for the Vanquish as there have been several threads about it on here. Good luck.
Yeah, Frank_C in Texas has an S he's written a lot about, and CornersWell has written some good info while shopping for one. Manny in SoCal (with the S7) has one too. Also one of my dream cars!
I remember their being several threads out there. I did do a search, but was unable to find a thread about the V. Maybe I am searching wrong???? Thanks for the responses. I will search some more...
