    Has anyone on here owned or driven an Aston Martin Vantage Lemans? This along with the XJ220 have always been my 2 Non-Ferrari favorites. This was a superb bodystyle. I never thought I'd ever come across one until last summer. I was driving an f430 on the switchbacks in Cap de l, and saw one flying around the switchback staring me in the face. It was British racing green and stunning. I watched it go by and then watched it head off in the distance and my friend screamed at me to watch the road! I explained to him that that was the first and last time we'd ever see that car.

    Like I said, I saw it in Cap d'Ail, France. It was a Le Mans I'd bet my life on it.

    I've never driven a Le Mans but the standard Vantage was plenty fast enough. Definitely not a chuckable sports car though. I'm not a fan of the big nostrils on the Le Mans and they command a huge premium in price compared to the standard Vantage.

    Great cars though, old school :)

    Look in the adverts in Octane magazine, always seems to be one for sale.

    I believe you're correct that they didn't sell them in the states, but there definitely are a few kicking around. There was one in the showroom of the Miller Motorcars Aston dealership in Greenwich, CT, a month or so ago. No idea if it's still there or not, or even if it was for sale.

    Also I recall the guys at Aston Martin New England telling me about one they sold to a collector here in the US.
