everyhting but the front end i love... put a one 77 in the body of a vanquish and it would be the best vehicles ever (from what ive seen/read of course. Ive not driven this or any other exotic car :D )

unless you have regular access to a high speed oval or are criminally insane, top speed is irrelevant.

Why don't we have the Government legislate an electronic limiter to keep all vehicles from exceeding 71 mph?

because that would take the fun out of it :)

but really, past 150 mph or so (which a lot of cars can do), who cares.

For me it's not just the top speed, how ever impressive that 220 is and it certainly is it's more the rate of acceleration and how quickly it can get up to speed.

Both valid points, however the ability to exceed 200mph is significantly more impressive than the ability to exceed 150mph. Top speed is a demonstration of outright power defeating drag and a figure over 220mph is staggering.

The biggest problem I see with the AM one-77 is that I stand even less chance of owning one than I do of owning a Mac F1 :(

When Winston Wolf says "That's thirty minutes away. I'll be there in ten", he wants a car that says "I solve problems".

    I'd much rather have a Vanquish S...

IMHO, top speed matters at 2 points.
    1) Can the car break 200mph
    2) is it the fastest ever...

    201 vs 217 vs 220... I don't care...

FYI, mathmatically it takes about 1650 HP to break 300 MPH...

    Vanquish S are now around $100k. I couldn't get a Vantage V8 for more if I could have a big V12 for $20k cheaper.

    mhmmmm

One for each member of his family, apparently. He gave AM $23mil for them to be delivered before the end of the year.

There's also another guy who ordered two: one to drive and one to hang on his wall.

    WTF Aston Martin??
