I'm just curious. I don't know if it even means anything when it comes to the cars performance. But how fast do your testarossas run when in 5th gear at around 4krpm? Mine runs right at 100mph. And seems to like it having to give it little gas to maintain.

You're in the right ballpark if a US version TR. Per the US version gear ratio numbers (and assuming the effective rolling radius of a 255/50-16 rear tire is 12.525" which is just a guesstimate), 100 mph = 3905 engine RPM. However, dash mounted tachometers and speedometers aren't the most accurate devices on the planet ;).

If I recall in a US TR 100 is about redline in 3rd. In 5th it is a very easy cruise requiring very little of the motor and is a pretty sedate speed.

    From the manual (1991 US)
    4000 rpm would be 102.4mph

And in 3rd at redline 6800rpm would be 99.96 mph
