At least Dr Theissen has the right idea....

I could care less about Max. Time for the weekend and the race. F1 will survive this doom and gloom. As if the FIA or Max are bigger than F1. They arent. It will go on.

Theissen: It's time to focus on the sport

BMW team principal Mario Theissen has urged the motorsport fraternity to move on from the Max Mosley debacle.


BMW and Mercedes-Benz described Max Mosley's behaviour as "disgraceful" after the scandal broke more than two months ago.


Theissen backed up the statement by the German car manufacturers, saying, "We had no intention nor have we announced that we will back down from anything."


On Tuesday the BMW boss called on everyone to start focusing on the sport once again.


"The relevant bodies of the FIA have passed a vote of confidence in Max Mosley, which means he will see out his term of office as President of the FIA, ending in October 2009," he said.


"We respect this decision, which was made by the delegates in full knowledge of the facts.


"It is important now for everyone concerned to turn their undivided attention back to the sport."
