    I saw a car that looked like a new Ferrari Super America
    at a car show but when I got close
    I realized it was a replica front to back built on the chassis and some of the body of the C4 Corvette
    In back they didn't use Ferrari taillights and the
    rear window was very mail slot like.The kit builders will be selling the panels for about $12000.
    The quality of the fiberglass was good. They didn't put a Ferrari badge on it, front or rear.
    By now the C4 that is the donor car can be had for about $2500.
    The main builder was living in Agua Dulce and said that he used to work
    for GM Design Center when it was in 1000 Oaks.My pal that went with me was horrified
    saying they would not be welcome at a Ferrari event or a Corvette event but considering the many custom Corvettes I've seen I think the plastic pachyderm lovers wouldn't mind.
