My SA is setting up an atelier app't for my 812 GTS. What can I do to prepare to make the most of it? What Q should I ask? Any other advice? Thanks!
Just have Fun When I did mine , I spent 3 hours in combinations of materials / colors / options Better for you to have an idea before for what for you is mandatory to have for you . Where is your appointment in NY ?
Will be interested in how it goes! Just confirmed my appt for Jan 6th in NYC. Starting to put together ideas and inspiration. Thinking of exterior that is similar to a silver with R\W\B stripe 250 SWB I have seen.
You are in good hand ....... there is Aldo there , Italian designer for Ferrari... he finalized my spec with a new special white and a particular design for stripe newer made before .
Thanks. I'm usually very decisive when it comes to spec. This one has me stumped. I can see black sanu silver blu Carolina blu Stephanie azzurro dino or ad met. As we get closer to the new malaise with the end of ice, the right spec becomes crucial since some of these might be forever cars.
Tell them what you want your car to say….what your idea is….. For me classic gt not high tech, not look at me. Your story you want to tell. Trust them but stay to your idea. If you have an inspiration, send it to them. Enjoy the process. It is amazing and fun. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Indeed. First have an idea of what you want the car to be. Either sporty, classy, racy, classical, etc. That way the Atelier can help you move into a certain direction. Having a base idea generally is a good starting point. Even more so, having an idea of what exterior colour you are looking for. Once you have those two, the rest simply starts to fill in itself.
When I had my appointment, I did a bunch of research, I thought about what I wanted, I took a lot of time to come up with a plan. Then I had my appointment and the designer did a great job understand my interests and likes, and the car I ultimately ordered was almost opposite what I did all the work planning for. And I love it! Keep an open mind and just see where thing fall!
