    I have read the threads on Atelier but if I was to order a new California and want to build through the Atelier process in Italy would I go to the dealer, put down my deposit, get a date for the Atelier from my dealer and then come back and wait for delivery? What is the cost for this program?

    Also is the Atelier program different in Italy vs in NYC at Park Ave? I know the one in Maranello gives you the full experience of being at Ferrari but was wondering if I would have more\less options if I couldn't get to Italy before ordering.

    buddy of mine here in town just went through it in Italy. the photos I've seen and conversation I have had seems priceless.

    good question - is the process different in maranello or park avenue? theoretically it is supposed to be the same. most customers don't have the time or interest to go to italy to spec a car!

    but in the real world:
    1. in maranello you can go for a quick walk and see something that is maybe directly relevant to what you are thinking
    2. volume in maranello i imagine is much greater so the staff should be more on the "a" game
    3. maranello gets customers from all over the world so you have a broader range of regional preferences coming together
    4. lunch is great

    i am happy i went to ital to spec my laf. local atelier program is no doubt perfectly fine but i felt the points above
