Don't forget about the weekly Donut Derelicts gathering at Dandy Donuts on Chamblee-Dunwoody Road. If I don't sleep too late (!), I think I'm going to try to attend tomorrow morning. I haven't seen any other Ferraris there--how about it, people?

Here's the first of two sets of photos taken at last Saturday's event. Apparently there was a Ford show that day in Clarkston, hence the number of FoMoCo products that stopped by on their way.

Notables included 3 handsome Ford trucks, two very similar (except for beds and shade of green paint) and one very different. Also a black '55 Cadillac that looked straight out of "The Godfather Part II", a '51 Ford Victoria with a gorgeous high-shine finish, a split-window '63 Corvette, and a two-tone '55 Olds that dwarfed the Gatorrari parked alongside.

In the second half, you'll note that we did get some additional Italian participation. What surprised me is how long the trunk lid on the T-bird was and how good-looking the original Seville was (even if it really was a gussied-up Nova). To my salutation of "A Triumph of British engineering!" came the retort of "But watch out for the oil!" And note the stealth-black 911 in the background of the last photo.
