Atlanta Restuarant (Wifes Birthday)

I went to Ray's On The River for brunch a few months back, and they let me park the 328 in a good spot up front.

 

Kyma is better than Atlanta fish, same valets, just tip them & park it yourself

 

i have unfortunately been to rays on the river twice in as many months. what a rip.

u can get $100 gift cards at costco for a discount if u do go.

 

Couple of places to try:

JCT - great food & ambiance Ferrari Friendly let you park right up front.

Eugenes - valet, but will park you right by the door... pride of place... Food is outstanding but its a bit pricey

then there is always Chops / Lobster bar...

 

Blue Ridge is always a good bet.

 

If you like meat, Pampas on State bridge is an excelent choice. IMO

Just ate there tonight with my wife for Valentines Day.

Canoe restaurant on W. Paces Ferry. Best restaurant/atmosphere in the city.

 

I went to Tifosi Gastropub over the weekend, have any of you guys been there yet? Owner is a HUGE Italian car fan. The food there is really good, they make their own mozzarella there. I had Sicilian Nachos that were excellent.

 

Atlanta Fish Market, Chops by St.Regis, Blue Pointe, Prime......all with zero problems parking it yourself and keeping it upfront.

 

I would recommend Rathbun's. IMHO the best restaurant in Atlanta.
They have valet or self park---if you tip the valet they will let you park it yourself up front.

 

+1 on Canoe and Rathbun's. Both are fantastic in very different ways.

rofl, not even close. try bacchanalia if you want the best.

 

Rathbun's is THE WORST I have been to. dont get me started... They are a complete waste of time! The food is terrible, service is worse! Kevin Rathbun is a faker in the culinary world... dont go!!!

Baccahanalia is much better... Aria the best!

 

Abruzzi was the best, too bad Nico had to up and retire.

 

Baccanalia couldnt even prepare a vegitarian meal for a guest, they came out with 3 side items like Po folks, classless, any chef worth his $alt could & should have done better. I even called ahead & asked if they can had a problem with it, no problem.

Taimarind Seed is a great spot with parking @ Colony Square or the W midtown up front are always some exotics, & the cars are nice too. Have a drink @ the W , walk through to the Seed & have a great view of midtown.

 

Looks like canoe hasn't gotten a negative response yet, i'll have to try it out

 

An interesting birthday surprise for the wife is Agatha's Dinner Theater ... www.agathas.com ... The food and show are both excellent. My wife and I have been there numerous times over the years and always had a blast. We usually stay at the Ritz-Atlanta that night which is directly across the street...no driving necessary. In fact, I'm going there for a birthday get together with friends in a couple of weeks.

 

The Bar at the St. Regis is THE place in B head.... the restaurant ... jury is still out... not very impressive for the NYC prices.

 

The endless parade of bentleys out front would certainly seem to suggest so.

Haha yea, no Ferrari but I figure you can let me drive yours when your busy racing. I'm ready for that beer whenever you are
