No updates here lately as the weather has been supremely uncooperative, but I have a few from the last week I'm just now getting to:

- white Maybach 57S at Terminus valet.

Tuesday March 31:
- white Bentley Arnage parked late at night at Whole Foods across from Chops on West Paces.
- gold Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead on distributor plates leaving the Mansion and headed down Peachtree.

A few from today, first spots in about a week because of this stupid weather we have been having...

8 series that has verrrry similar wheels to the one I saw a few months ago at Lenox, I'm gonna post up both pictures for a side by side comparison first one is today's second one is from 2-22....both cars on North Carolina Plates
R63 pulling out of Lenox, I was on foot when I took this picture and as soon as I snapped it, the driver opened the door and screamed "Hey what was that picture for?" I asked him if he knew his car was one of only a handful in the whole country and at first he had no idea, but after it registered that his car was cool he tried to play it off as if he knew the whole time and that was his whole reason for buying it. It was on Virginia plates but I blanked it out because he asked me to.

The last picture I have no explanation for, but there were several of this type of cars around town today, there were 6 different ones parked in valet at Lenox when I left today, it made me want to puke

My first car observed today was a black Audi R8 at the Chickfilet off of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.
2) was a white Lamborghini Gallardo roadster also on Roswell Road in Roswell.
3) was a blue Ferrari 355 spider on Holcolmb Bridge Road(MWhitesells perhaps?).
4) was a silver Ferrari 360 Modena also on Holcolmb Bridge Road.
5) was a second blue Ferrari 355 spider a lighter shade in Sandy Springs near CarTunes.
6) was a red Ferrari F430 spider with red dealer tags at Capital Grille.
7) was a silver Lotus Esprit S4 on Lenox Road.
8) was a second Ferrari F430 spider at Rays restaurant off of Lenox road ....this car had personalized Georgia tags.
9) was a silver F430 coupe at Aja.
10) was a Ferrari 550 Maranello behind Tin Lizzys.
11) was a red Ferrari F430 spider with after market wheels and a Ferrari of Ft Lauderdale license holder.
12) was a second Audi R8 at Terminus along side the silver Ferrari 360 Modena from Roswell.

Started out the day at Caffeine and Octane where there was an awesome turnout, I'll work on getting those pictures up but it's gonna take a while because the picture files are so freakin big

On the way home from the show were a red 430, red NSX and a dark blue Ford GT
Also on the way home was an...uhhhh, F40. It was parked behind a body shop, I'm assuming it's someone's side project.
Moving on to Buckhead was a 360 Spyder and the same Azure (still not sure if that's right, where you at Doug?) at Intercontinental, later saw the 360 driving on Alabama dealer plates
Next were two Elises, one on Roswell Rd with a number 7 painted on the door, the other was parked in front of Popeye's

Orange Elise with #7 was me. (really need to peel off the throw away track day rocker protection)
I ran across Hector in the yellow one too. Pretty random to out of the blue end up right behind another one, and then it be someone you know.

 

Ya, saw that too behind the shop. My friend was like......oooohhhhh, F40......when we got there. Horrible disappoint. Very ugly.

 

I saw these two guys all over north Georgia and North Carolina late last week...

- and the rarest of all, a silver Mercedes R63 AMG on Virginia plates at a CVS on Cheshire Bridge Road at Lavista at about 1am Wednesday morning. As has been discussed before, this is among the rarer vehicles in this thread. This is actually the third one I've seen, which is amazing considering how few were sold in the United States.

Looks like an R8 to me...and it also looks like the driver is having a laugh at you sticking your camera out the sunroof too. Nice spots as always and I hope school's going well.

 

Got it switched! Hope I've caught all the mistakes in that post - trying to pull 30-40 sightings off the camera at 3am is never a good idea!

School is going well, and best of all, I've recently been offered a summer position in Atlanta, meaning I'll be able to occasionally spot cars here in Atlanta this summer!

No for everyone, I have my settings on 100 posts per page - takes just a little longer to load but is pretty cool to see all the pictures on one page.

Interesting spot of the day:

A red Lamborghini Murc. Roadster drove by my place on Boulevard and Ponce. In case you didn't know, Lamborghinis are a rare sight on Boulevard. It looked as if they were filming something because it had a single police motorcycle following allow the car and a SUV with someone hanging out the window filming with a semi-pro camera. Wonder if it was Jeezy and Bow Wow at their car wars again.

1st spot of Thursday evening was a white Lamborghini Gallardo roadster at the rear of Tin Lizzy’s.
2nd was a gray Ferrari F430 spider at Terminus.
3rd was a black Audi R8 at Bones.
4th was a silver Audi R8 at Rio Grande.
5th was a black Porsche 997 GT2 near Chops.

Nice spot, I love seeing GT2's...did you notice if it was from Morgan Co?

My only spot for the day was a DB9 at Phipps, the camera went a bit crazy but I kinda like how it turned out. This will be my last spot ever in my Civic because I traded it in today for a newer one. It's the same color and trim as my old one but this one has an automatic transmission which should make my daily commute a lot easier because driving a 5 speed in Buckhead sucks!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, I'm in Savannah till Monday and won't be around for any spots this weekend.

Nice!! I love the interior of the new Civics - it's so futuristic! And may I say, good job making the huge transition from a black Civic coupe all the way to a ... black Civic coupe. You should get the Race Car Hall of Fame license plate!

Despite the weather this evening, I did manage to catch a nice white Audi R8 out today, parked at a bank near Atlanta Fish Market on Pharr Road. Also managed to see a nice new Honda Insight on North Carolina temporary plates at the W Hotel in Buckhead. Cool little car!

Thanks - it really was convenient. I had some guests here last weekend and they couldn't get over that ridiculous fish in front of the restaurant. I had never paid much attention to it, but their reaction made me realize just how unusual it is. The R8 just happened to be in the perfect place!

- black Maybach 62S on New York plates parked outside the Intercontinental all day.
- silver Rolls-Royce Phantom at Lenox Mall, despite its being closed all day for Easter.

Also caught the new Ford Mustang in a parking lot at Phipps Plaza. I thought it would look substantially the same as the old one, but the differences are noticeable. I saw two of these within a couple minutes - both rentals, I believe - so they're out and about!
