- goldish Aston-Martin DB9 on Lenox and Peachtree.
- white Aston-Martin V8 Vantage Roadster leaving Chops valet.
- white Bentley Arnage at Chops valet.
- black Dodge Viper SRT-10 at Vitamin Cottage on Peachtree near Piedmont.
- silver Dodge Viper SRT-10 on California plates at Boston Market on North Druid Hills and Briarcliff.
- white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder at Hal's behind Tin Lizzy's.
- blue Lamborghini Murcielago at Piedmont and Peachtree.
- black Maybach 62S on New York plates at Intercontinental valet.
- silver Panoz Esperante at Capital Grille on East Paces Ferry.
- black Porsche 911 GT2 [997] on Piedmont and Peachtree.
- black Porsche 911 GT3 [996] on wildlife plates (eagle and flag) at tonight's Oglethorpe University baseball game.

And a few other interesting cars: my first on-the road spot of a Hyundai Genesis coupe, at Lenox and Peachtree, and a nice shot of a Mercedes E63 AMG wagon on Maine plates (?!) in the parking lot of Whole Foods on West Paces.

There must be something amazing about this car but everyone is talking about this car but I can't stand the looks of it!

Also, I was getting gas in Sandy Springs last night and a wonder silver DB7 Vantage Volante drives up behind me to get gas. To me that is one of the best looking Astons but yet so many people play it down.

 

It's great to see a picture of that blue Murcielago actually moving, not parked at the Lenox valet.

 

My only spot for the day was the 599 on Cali plates at the new Hotel by Chops. I've got a feeling that we are going to start seeing more and more exotic cars at this place as the weather keeps getting warmer.

On the eve of the big Ferrari event at Road Atlanta and with nice weather, I was anticipating a large amount of exotics on the road today. However I only spotted 4 cars with the best being a black F430 Scuderia on West Paces Ferry. It was very dark outside and I only had a chance for one photo. This car sounds AMAZING under throttle! Other spots include a Light Blue LP640 roadster at Phipps. In addition, a red Ferrari 360 spider equipped with all the options at Terminus. I also observed a silver 430 spider with aftermarket wheels that usually is seen at Terminus. He was driving down Wieuca - sorry no photo. And finally from earlier in the week, a red Ferrari 430 coupe at Houston's on Lenox Rd.

Thursday April 16:
- white Aston-Martin DB9 on temporary plates at Bone's valet.
- gray Aston-Martin V8 Vantage at New York Prime valet.
- black Bentley Azure on Alabama plates on Peachtree between Piedmont and Lenox Road.
- red Ferrari 360 Spider heading down Peachtree near Piedmont; he later parked at Terminus.
- red Ferrari F430 Spider on South Carolina plates at a shopping center on Lavista and Briarcliff.
- dark red Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder on temporary plates on Lenox Road at GA-400. Here's another angle.
- Young Jeezy's light blue Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster - still on temporary plates - headed down Lenox Road, and then later making a u-turn on Wieuca Road to head back to Phipps Plaza. He noticed me taking photos and gave me a smile and a wave.

Hi Andrew, not only did we post our shots within 10 min. of each other but it appears that at Phipps we may of just missed each other. Congrats on the new ride by the way. A stick in Atlanta is difficult but a stick while taking photos is impossible.....

- red Ferrari 328 GTS on local 'University of Florida' plates at Butler Tire. Gatorrari, is this you? Did you give up those great vanity plates bearing your F-chat namesake?! Here's another angle of this fantastic car.
- red Ferrari F355 Spider on North Carolina plate 355 F1 in a parking lot on Roswell Road between West Paces and Piedmont.

This was the worst Ferrari spot I have ever observed in fact it broke my heart to photograph it. It was on SR 53 in a salvage yard down the street from Road Atlanta.

I also caught that 308 shell at that salvage yard. I'm surprised, though, that you didn't mention that the yard wasn't exactly a regular old salvage yard, but rather one that had, in addition to that one Ferrari, about a city block full of just BMWs - from old E30 3-series all the way to X5s. The best part, for me, though, was a red Ferrari 360 Modena parked in front of one of the garages at that very salvage yard at around 1pm. Clearly they don't just chop them up there!

- black Bentley Continental GT Speed at Bone's.
- black Ferrari F430 Spider on local plate FRONTIN at Lenox Mall valet.

EDIT: interesting note on that V8 Vantage - the last time I saw that car was on October 28, 2006. Miraculously, I had not seen it one time in the two and a half years since then, even though it's on local plates. In fact, when I first saw it, it was just the third V8 Vantage I had ever seen - I've come a long way since then, having seen 43 as of today!

That's a very pricey MV Agusta in the garage right behind the 360 you just posted Doug...big $$$...also looks like a 998 Ducati sporting yellow. Someone has good taste!

 

Good eye on the Agusta - I was just about to point that out too.

That BMW salvage yard is actually Strictly German - Bobby Thrash's shop. I have had lots of cars worked on there and they actually do excellent work. They take their time (goes with the territory) but I have always been impressed with their work and pricing. If you ever need a BMW worked on, I suggest you look him up.

 

Yeah Strictly German is a GREAT shop.

Who owns the blue Murcielago with the blue wheels? ("rimz")

 

It belongs to rapper Young Jeezy

 

The blue Murcielago Roadster with blue wheels is Young Jeezy's. The blue Murcielago coupe belongs to someone else, out of the public eye (except, of course, when he drives his car...).

- gray Dodge Viper RT/10 on local plate THEEASY at Lenox Mall valet.
- black Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph at the Ritz-Carlton in Buckhead.

And how about this weird one: a BMW X5 with Canadian plates, but a Hillary for President bumper sticker! I can't even begin to explain that!

That looks amazing, I'll have to go in and check it out one day.

My only spot for the day was an Elise on the top of the parking deck at Lenox, I think the picture came out really well.
