Nice shots, Andrew! Most of mine from the last few days mirror yours, but here they are anyway:

    Sunday July 5:
    - goldish Aston-Martin DB9 on Peachtree over GA-400.
    - black Bentley Arnage at the Mansion, a dealer display from Bentley Atlanta.
    - black Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder in general parking at Lenox Mall with the rain falling.

    Monday July 6:
    - black Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at Bones on Piedmont along with a goldish Aston-Martin DB9. Here's a shot of both cars together.
    - black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage at 10 Degrees South on Roswell Road.
    - silver Audi R8 on Florida plate VENTURE at BluePointe.
    - blue Ferrari 456 in a parking lot near Piedmont and Lenox. Here's another angle.
    - black Ferrari 550 Maranello at Fado on Buckhead Avenue.
    - dark red Ferrari F430 Spider on Florida plates at Fellini's Pizza on Roswell and Wieuca.
    - black Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph on New York plates at Phipps Plaza valet.

Just for amusing comparison purposes, I'm going to compare my spots of my entire life, with your most popular June spots alone:

    1. Ferrari F430 - You in June: 18. Me in my life: 6
    2. Aston-Martin DB9 - You in June: 12. Me in my life: 1 (not counting an Aston Martin dealership I visited once)
    3. Lamborghini Gallardo - You in June: 11. Me in my life: 6
    4. Rolls-Royce Phantom - You in June: 10. Me in my life:3
    5. Audi R8 - You in June: 9. Me in my life: 3

So there you go, just for entertainment purposes! As I've stated before, I immensely enjoy your breakdowns, I do hope you'll keep doing them!

EDIT: Just curious if you've ever seen an exotic in Atlanta with Kentucky plates? :)

Haha - you need to come down to Atlanta!! So many great cars down here and considering I've got a now 90-day streak of sightings, you're pretty much guaranteed something cool on basically every summer evening. If you've only seen one DB9, you'd get your world rocked, since we saw two at the same restaurant last night!

Sadly, no. In my distant, in my view impossible goal to see one exotic car from every state, I've knocked off 29: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington (plus Washington, DC). If I were to guess which states I will see next, Kentucky would be in the top five (Michigan is my biggest surprise), but I almost never see cars from new states anymore. In fact, it's been four months since I added a new state (Pennsylvania) to my list.

That's not to say there aren't great cars in Kentucky. One of the best collections on F-chat belongs to RufMD who lives in Louisville. He's got an F40, Porsche Carrera GT, and 360 Challenge Stradale among many others, and recently sold an F50 he had for some time.

    Tuesday July 7:
    - black Aston-Martin DB9 at the St. Regis.
    - black Aston-Martin DB9 Volante on Piedmont near Lenox Road.
    - black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage on Peachtree near Piedmont.
    - white Bentley Arnage at Chops.
    - black Bentley Continental GT Speed on Colorado plates at Terminus.
    - silver Dodge Viper SRT-10 on Lenox Road at Piedmont.
    - red Ferrari 360 Spider at the shopping center on Wieuca and Roswell Road.
    - red Ferrari F355 Spider on North Carolina plate 355 F1 at Hal's.
    - white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder on Tennessee plates at Phipps Plaza valet.
    - dark green Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph on Florida 'Protect the Panther' plates at Peachtree and Piedmont.

    Wednesday July 8:
    - black Ferrari 512TR on Florida plates on Pharr Road at Peachtree.
    - the highlight of recent sightings, an orange Tesla Roadster at Terminus. Here's another photo. The car was parked at Terminus for quite some time and drew looks from very many interested people. I can't believe there are (at least) two in Atlanta!

I'm still around, but not nearly as much as I used to be. I'm working different hours and usually by the time I get off, I'm physically tired and just want to go home and lay down. I have had a few pictures from the past few days though, and tonight I saw the silver GT2 that wrecked during the Children's Ride event about a month ago but didn't get a picture.

    Tuesday

    -DB9 at St. Regis
    -R8 at Phipps
    -GT Speed at Terminus
-456 in the parking lot by Blockbuster on Roswell Rd

    Today

    -GT-R on Peachtree

Very nice spots! West, I'm surprised you saw so much on Thursday - that Azure was the only car I saw after an hour (!) of driving in Buckhead! I guess you must've been up there a little later or earlier than me.

    My spots from yesterday evening:
    - silver Aston-Martin DB7 Vantage Volante at Phipps Plaza valet.
    - awful photo of a gray Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at Terminus.
    - silver Audi R8 on Florida plate VENTURE at Chops.
    - black Bentley Arnage on temporary plates at Phipps Plaza.
    - black BMW Z8 at Bone's on Piedmont.
    - gray Ferrari 360 Modena on California plates at Justin's.
    - red Ferrari F430 on Montana plates at Fado.
    - yellow Lamborghini Gallardo at the Intercontinental.
    - black Maybach 57S on South Carolina plates at Fogo de Chao.
    - black Rolls-Royce Phantom at Terminus.

An interesting night in Buckhead. One each of nearly all of the most common exotics, no more no less, and no surprising exotics (granted, I missed the LP640 Roadster). The only things missing were a Viper and a V8 Vantage to round out the 'everyday exotic' troop. No complaints though - any night seeing ten exotic cars is a great one!

Seen Friday afternoon in Cobb County, just after 2 PM:

A red F355 spider (with the top down) exiting I-75 southbound at exit 265 and turning left onto the North Marietta Parkway. (I was 3 cars behind in my Civic.)

Anyone we know? I haven't seen many Ferraris in that part of Cobb over the last 12+ years.

Nice spots, particularly these two! Once again you manage to do much better than me on a night when we're both in Buckhead! Where did you see the Ford GT? I don't recognize that area.

Very nice! You guys are on a roll!

With the thunder crashing and the rain pouring here at Emory, I figured it'd be best to post my weekend spots and skip Buckhead this evening:

    Saturday July 11:
    - red 2002-2005 Acura NSX on North Carolina plates on Peachtree at Piedmont.
    - black Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at Atlantic Station.
    - black Aston-Martin DB9 Volante on Florida plates at Tin Lizzy's.
    - goldish Aston-Martin DB9 Volante on 'Fight Breast Cancer' plates at Terminus.
    - dark blue Aston-Martin V8 Vantage Roadster on Piedmont near Peachtree.
    - black Bentley Arnage on temporary plates at Phipps Plaza valet.
    - gray Ferrari 360 Modena on California plates at Atlantic Station.
    - red Ferrari F430 at Cactus Car Wash on Piedmont.
    - red Ferrari F430 Spider on Piedmont near Lindbergh.
    - red Ferrari F430 Spider on South Carolina plates at Maggiano's in Buckhead.
    - yellow Lamborghini Gallardo at Phipps Plaza's "other" valet.
    - black Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph at the St. Regis.

    Sunday July 12:
    - black Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at Atlantic Station.
    - yellow Lamborghini Gallardo at Lenox Mall valet.
    - greenish Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph on Florida 'Protect the Panther' plates in a parking lot at Peachtree and Piedmont.

Also, two other cool non-exotics, both on Saturday: a pink Plymouth Barracuda 440 with vanity plate CUDA440 in Buckhead, and a black Porsche 911 Slantnose in Virginia-Highland, though I don't know if it's an aftermarket conversion or the "real deal."

Hi Doug, The Ford GT was parked at the Ruth Chris steak house off of Roswell Rd. near I-285.

I did want to ask if you and ZonderF noticed the three ''BMW'' flags placed in front of the ''Mansion''? They also had a Bridgestone Motorsports trailer parked in a lot with two temporary structures nearby. I was thinking it might be part of the ''M Power Tour'' but did not view any cars.

Hope everything is going your way. I hope your visit with your parents was a nice one! West

Hey West! The parents visit was indeed a nice one. :)

I noticed both the Bridgestone trailer and tents as well as the flags. I had not associated the two until you mentioned it. I figured the flags had gone up for the Peachtree Road Race, which was held the morning of July 4th, and simply hadn't come down yet, but your version makes a little more sense. Time will tell. I wonder where they would hold the event? No parking lot near there (aside from the ones at the malls) would have enough room.

That is Hotel Palomar on West Peachtree. I spotted three of them earlier today there. I stopped by to take a picture and the valet told me to move - I told him I was just there to take a picture and that I would be moving soon. He said they were in town because there was an exotic car show in town but he didn't know the name. Look for them in the next coming days because the group is staying at the hotel. I will try to post pictures later of the three grouped together.

Doug, I spotted the Tesla the other day and they guy looked like he was having a lot of fun driving the car. I think the car looks amazing in orange!

Doug, I'm a bit late but I just read the article about you in Automobile magazine. Congratulations, that was a fantastic article! I respect what you do and awe at your elaborate car-spotting data. That seriously has me checking my calendar for the remainder of the summer to see if I have a couple of open days where I could make the 6 hour drive to Atlanta for the weekend, simply to car spot. You'll have to show me the hot spots! Take care, and congrats again.

EDIT: It also made me feel special that I've spotted (and had the chance to shoot) a ZR1 while I was in Florida, and you haven't shot one yet :p Didn't have time to shoot it, but the g/f was driving and didn't wanna make her turn around so I could snap a pic. I regret that decision to this day...

I didn't see either one of those, usually when I'm driving by there I will look through the hole in the wall from Peachtree and if I don't see anything I don't make the turn down that road. I'll have to keep an eye out over the next few days though to see if anything turns up, especially with 3 Spykers at a hotel in Midtown, we may be in for a real treat.

Did you ever get your Camaro, and if so, how are you liking it?
