Atlanta Spotters Thread

I think I saw a yellow 360 Modena sitting in traffic on 285 this afternoon, but I'm not sure...

I did, however, see a blue Elise this morning (10:56) on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, in Duluth... I was at Starbucks, sitting at the outside table, nursing a large hot chocolate when it blurred by... Those things look like so much fun...

 

My wife and I were driving North on 400 at 2pm and between exit 6 and 8 we saw a yellow 360 Modena. It was beautiful and I can't wait until I get one!

I just wish I had my 308 out today!

 

I saw a red 360 in Tech Square the other morning.

 

I'm glad someone dug up this thread. I saw 1 Lambo, 1 Maserati Quataporte, 1 430 spider, and a Lotus Elise. All in about 10 miles.

Nice, I've seen a couple nice cars over there too. Also spotted an Vanquish the other day on Old Milton.

 

Saw the car also parked in the service lane...very stunning in black. Went back to the dealer two weeks later and a friend took me in the back where there was a silver one and a Ford GT which they recieved on a trade-in.

 

Awesome...! The coolest spot I've had in a long time was a green Karman Ghia at the gas station up the street... I complimented the guy on the car and he said, "Thanks! It's my wife's; she let's me take it out every once in a while..."

 

Sunday 12th, on I-75 NB in Marietta area, I saw a silver Ferrari 355 (targa maybe, I don't remember)

My brother just bought an 05 Elise and I was following him in his old car to help him get his cars up to Tennessee where he lives.

The Ferrari spotted the Lotus and vice versa. They proceeded to play hide and go seek while I was desperately trying to keep up. I got a pic, I'll have to remember to post it soon.

Yesterday afternoon, I saw a red Lotus Esprit on 78 right here in Lilburn/Stone Mountain...!

 

One of my friends' fathers used to have a red Esprit, now he just drives a G35 coupe.

Remarkable. I've never seen another Ferrari on I-75 here in Cobb. (And the exit on the sign is mine!)

 

Dunno if I should be hush hush about this but the first 599 was at Ferrari of Atlanta in the back. A Maser dealer was talking about it while I was there and I overheard....the car is not as big as it looks in pictures. Quite stunning...someone in the south east is gonna be one happy driver.

 

May have to make my way down and check it out.

 

Yellow 360 with challenge rear grill going north on 85 on Saturday morning, about 10-10:30. I was on Peachtree overlooking 85 and saw it ride beneath me.

 

I saw a black 328 gts a few minutes ago . . . . . . . . in my garage

 

This evening at about 7:10, on Windy Hill Road heading east from I-75:

a red Maranello! I couldn't tell whether it was a 550 or a 575.

It was two lanes over to my right as I was preparing to turn left onto northbound I-75. The first I saw of the car was a Scuderia shield visible thru the window of the car next to me!

Anyone we know??

 

Maybach east bound on I-20, exiting at Panola Road yesterday afternoon. This was the first one I've seen and it wasn't very impressive, to me anyway.

 

Saw a look on Sunday...

Black Murc Roadster turning onto the 85 N on ramp from N. Druid Hills Rd. at about 11:30 a.m.

One red and one yellow 360, both with challenge rear grills, going south on 400 near the MARTA station at about 4:00 p.m.

Silver Lambo Gallado drove past while I was at Joe's Crab Shack off of Haynes Bridge Rd.


And today I stopped by FoA (haven't been there in over a year) but Levi told me that they didn't have a 599!!! Oh well, maybe next time.

 

The red one was a CS.

I was just in a regular car, nothing special, but I did see the Ford GT. I was heading north so I didn't get a good look at the cars but when I turned around I saw a yellow car with a black stripe heading up the MARTA ramp. I was trying to think what it could be but we were too far away. I found out that it was a GT because they ended up catching up with us. They pulled along side us just as we were pulling into Joe's.
