I currently see 2 erroneous charges to my ATM card on the same day at 2 different locations. Is there any way to sort who made those charges? (such as is it possible to go view the banks security tapes, etc etc)?

    Don't feel so bad...

It happened to me as well 2 weeks ago. I was shy approx. 2 grand to be exact which equals four ATM withdrawls of $500.00 each. All of which were in the Chicago area. I contacted my bank and they froze all of my ATM privilidges until I received my new cards. To make a long story short, Thank God for On-Line Banking or else they could have have just kept withdrawing $$$$. The bank indicated that a third party had duplicated my card as well as my pin number... Very sophisticated ****..... The bank replenished all of my money and issued new pins and cards... CHECK YOUR **** BEFORE SOMEBODY ELSE DOES......

    Victim.....

Well, we know what ATM it was withdrawn at. Is it possible to watch bank and ATM cameras to catch the culperit, or is that "against their policy"?

Very doubtful they will let you view the security cameras. And depending on whos other ATM they used it may require a discovery to obtain that tape.

Sue them, then close your account.

Wait close your account first, then sue.

Wait, rack up massive credit card debt, file out, then sue.

    Yeah that's the one.
