Exhaust sound testing is mandatory at the track before you're allowed to race, so I decided to attach my GoPro to the back bumper for the sound test run. The sounds produced were spine tingling. What's also noteworthy is the gear change speed at WOT vs light throttle.
For those who are impatient to watch the entire video, the party begins at 27seconds.
    Enjoy.

car has a wonderful stock exhaust note for certain....when you go through the gears in a certain way you get that burrrrap sound that just makes you smile.
on the list for an exhaust from Centerline...
is your's bone stock? or do you have that gizmo that always runs the exhaust in Race mode?
    thanks for posting!

Car is bone stock and does sound like an F1 when in race mode. I've always modified my stock exhausts including running Tubis on my Ferraris but this would be the first car I've owned that didn't seem to need any kind of exhaust upgrade, except perhaps a non resonated mid pipe. What is the gizmo that you're referring to? I run the car in race mode on the streets but miss not having the emergency brake control just in case.

there is a way to by-pass the valve control so that it is always open even if not in race mode...so you have all the nanny-gizmos in D mode. there is an x-pipe available for the car....I've had mine for just over a year now and I'm not sure what I want to do if anything yet
here is the link for the by-pass valve...http://www.giuliaforums.com/forum/481-alfa-romeo-giulia-quadrifoglio/10122-flaps-open-race-mode-exhaust-sound-all-modes.html

Just read up on it, very interesting. I'm disappointed Alfa did not open the valves in Dynamic mode at all RPM ranges.

This was shot at Arizona Motorsport Park. They restrict over 96 db at 50 ft due to noise complaints from neighbors. The track was hung up in litigation for years until it recently opened. Interesting fact: right next to the track is Luke Air Force base which is an active F16 training base.
