Nice! When I saw the date at the beginning of this thread I thought to myself: "FerrariChat existed in 2004?" I want to know what that car is up to now, 10 years later!
****, I forgot to ask for the VIN 10 years ago. Martin, I don't suppose you remember the serial number a decade later?!?
Great post!!! When I took the plunge on a 355 two years ago I was always worried about potential problems. Have to say 10,000 miles later and no issues at all just normal servicing . I drive my car every week without fail and it always gets a real good blow out on a quiet stretch of road nearby where I can get it up to 260 kmh . These things need to be driven period ! Great to see one with such high mileage .
I didn't see the date at first and was thinking $45K with that many miles is crazy and people are actually interested in purchasing!!!
I guess the mileage doesn't matter with Ferrari. Just out of curiosity, how is it possible to have the original brake pads while accumulating 100k miles? I can understand clutch being original as it depends on the driver. This is the first F355 w/ over 100k miles I've ever heard, impressive.
If the guy was on the highway for 80% of his driving, he was not really using the brakes. They were just along for the ride most of the time.
