One of the last resolved problems with the fusebox to my understanding is how the main power supply wires / connections in the car's harness are aging and apparently not well at all. ALL of our fuse box problems are now a thing of the past due SRI's Fuse Box System fix so SRI decided it was time to focus attention on the harness itself with a new upgrade.

SRI has dubbed this new upgade "The Source" connection block (a solid piece of brass that fits perfectly), which improves the current transfer Many times over that of the OEM connections that are now most often seen melted. On my Mondial t (and all Mondial-t's) the tranfer wires are 10 ga whereas on most other older cars an 8 ga wire is used, so my car was chosen (naturally) as the one to test this new piece. My connections had already started to melt at the plug and the insulation was delaminating due to heat flow as you can see in the 2 middle images below. This was not readily apparent until it was disconnected and inspected.

On top of the vastly improved electrical connection "the Source" assures it also acts as a heat sink, thus preventing further damage to the wiring harness itself. What I have noticed on my car is that all high draw items have been improved, window lifts included. If you are a recipient of SRI's Fuse Box System then this upgrade is available to you. You should call them for more information and a much better description of what this can do for your car and that includes TR's, 328's, Mondials, 456's, 550's, F-40's, 288's, etc.

I believe we can finally say bye bye to ALL fuse box related electical problems. Amen and R.I.P.
