Early American Plates lock your vehicles assessed value at $500. Imagine a world of a $15 tax bill. Convert to Early American plates and realize the dream!!! Early American plates lock in your vehicles value at $500. Call your tax assesor to confirm before converting, but there's a whole lot of money to be saved. Its only ~$20 to convert to an Early American tag....

Open to any vehicle over 20 years old. Very with your local tax assessor to ensure your town locks in the value as I believe it is up to the discretion of the town.

I have them on 4 cars and the only restriction is that you cannot put them on a vehicle that is used commercially. In a few weeks this will be opened up to 1989 cars as well. Emissions testing still remains intact for cars 25 years or older unfortunately. As soon as the guy from CT throws an EA plate on his McLaren F1 the state might start taking a look at raising the minimum assessments.

No restrictions other than no commercial vehicles as mentioned earlier. I just put them on my '85 308... will be nice to save the $750.
