    THIS IS NOT A BASH BUT A PUBLIC REACTION TO IT

    PETER IS ONE OF THE MOST VALUABLE ASSETS THAT FCHAT HAS....

    HE WAS SOLEY TRYING TO PROMOTE HIS BUSINESS ALL OVER THE CHAT SO TO
    BENEFIT A PERSON OUT OF WORK OR WANTS TO MAKE A COUPLE OF DOLLARS ON THE SIDE......NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT

    TO SEE JOHN LAMOURS THREADS (ABOUT 10 OF THEM) TALKING ABOUT TITIES AND OTHER CRAP ALL OVER THE OFF TOPIC, DOES NOT COMPARE WITH PETERS THOUGHFUL REQUESTS FOR RECRUITS...TO MAKE MONEY

    ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS TO TELL PETER TO REMOVE ALL THE POSTS AND JUST KEEP IT IN THE BUSINESS SECTION

    POOORLY DONE..........THATS WHY I NEVER WANT TO BE A MOD

    I didn't even get a chnace to see any of the threads. Don't quite understand why he would be banned maybe a pm or e-mail might have been good enough to clear up any misunderstanding.

    WE ALL KNOW PETER IS A GOOD GUY, BUT, SO IS WAYNE, AND HE DOES A GOOD JOB FOR US, ESPECIALLY IN VINTAGE WHERE WE NEED HIM THE MOST.

    i don't think that's the case, but there are other people on FerrariChat who spam a lot and no one ever says anything to them... There seems to be some subtle favortism and tension with and between some of the groups of people on this board... Though PeterS probably should've kept his stuff in the business section, Bruce DOES have a valid point...

    Yes, BUT, his point should not be taken to the board to decide. If he wants an answer, he PM's. If he has problem with a user, he should report a post. This is his THIRD thread this week calling attention only to himself and how he disaproves of someone/something. That is not right. Most of the time I do agree, but why create a mob mentality against one user/mod. That is BULL****. And very child like.

    Oh I'm sorry I thought the title of the thread read ATTN...WAYNE AUSBROOKS not ATTN...BRUCE WELLINGTON and as far as the other threads he has started this week didn't the ferrarigtofan guy have like three ID's to one IP address? I guess that was uncalled for too in your opinion. Although you seem to enjoy posting in that thread

    Redhead....ahhhh.......never mind...

    Bruce - Peter was wrong, apparently the ban was to stop him before he cross threaded his posting into every topic on Ferrari Chat.

    Unbanning probably won't be a problem, at worst, it's a one day thing.

    And, Peter should have known better. If the 16 threads had been about a wrecked Ferrari, or AllanLambo, we all would have been up in arms about cross posting.

    Does prove however, that no good deed goes unpunished.

    As far as I can tell, Wayne did PM/e-mail Peter. The reason he went public with an explanation was because BigAl caught the 16-posting event and got a thread started on it. If Wayne hadn't come on that thread with an explanation, everyone would be going wild.
