Karen and I are also going on Saturday, I'm hoping to arrive around 9am. It would be great to run into some other fchatters down there. I've considered driving the TR down and trying to sneek in and get a prime parking spot near the auction buildings....but I doubt it would work....so I'll just take the Audi.... :-(
Jeff, I may be wrong but I don't think it opens until 10:00. Here is their latest Ferrari inventory for the auction: http://www.kruse.com/auctions/return.asp?MAKE=Ferrari&AUC_CODE=AUBFALL07&AUC_BREAD=Auburn%20Fall%202007&YEAR=
Hi Jerry....there is a "collectibles auction" that starts at 9am, and the rest of the events start at 10am. Is anyone wearing a Ferrari shirt so I can tell who's who....?
Ill try to remember to wear mine. Itll be a teenager wearing a plain red ferrari polo. I have red hair so thatll make it even easier to spot me!
I'll be there Friday afternoon until close. Saturday AM is my "rain date" if my buddy can't make it Friday. Anyone else going Friday? JIM
I'll try and wear one of my red Ferrari Polo shirts.....and perhaps my lovely girlfriend Karen will wear something "Ferrari" too....
There are usually a bunch of exotic cars on the east side of the auction buildings, from a couple of dealerships like Nelson Lamborghini, Midwest Auto Group, etc. I'm probably going to be hanging out in this area around lunch time...12 to 1 or so to eat and drool.
I am pretty sure I saw you taking a pic. Do you have curly hair? I got a couple pics and defiantly got a pic of the famous green mazda ute. I was suprised at all the 355's. I was also suprised at the black G-Car Spider that was dirty.
Oh yeah. That would be me. Should have stopped by and asked I got to sit in a silver 360 Modena with sport seats
GIVE ME TIME Probably going out for a drive with dad in the S2000 soon. (hopefully) Then ill get on it. 3 Countachs (Red,Black,White) Gallardos(white, silver) 355 spiders x3 a TON of other stuff too.
Man, that was the most Ferraris I have ever seen at Auburn. I saw (2) Mondials, (3) 308's, a 328, (4) 355's, (3) 360's, a 430 and a Boxer. I bought one of the neon Ferrari clocks from the guy by the auction rings in the main building, he had some great and unique neons. My buddy bought one of those old time restored red & white Texaco air pumps with the rolling numbers and the bells that ding as the air pressure increases...very cool!
Yep I feel that Ferrari made up for the down fall of Lambos. I wish Nelson would of brought more cars like a Murci.
Did anyone else hear the auctioneer talking about his friend who had 400 cars and is selling them? I was speachless when I heard 400 hundred cars. He said the guy started 60 years ago. Does anyone know where I could find the auction list for these 400 cars?
