There is an auction on Monday at Darling Harbour, hall 3. Cars can be inspected both days this weekend. List can be found via http://www.pickles.com.au Includes 1999 360 modena, red / beige 2002 Diablo gold / brown 2004 Murciélago pearl orange / charcoal and Aston Martin 2005 DB9 V12 coupé, lotsa MBs, Porsche, BMW, etc. Anyone going? regards, Pete
im thinking th Diablo SE will bring close to 300 wholesale, and the Murci a smidge over around $360k maybee $380k ish. I am curious what the 360 will go for.
Not likely. Do not forget that a 1999 Red and Black (best colour) went for 199k under the hammer late last year. I think 250k would be really pushing it at auction. Redbook says 2000 VT 6.0; Trade in price guide $219,100 - $237,500 National average price - private sale $251,500 - $285,900
yeah i know that the 6.0 should be allot lower given the supposed values, but it seems that Diablo's across the board are exchanging hands for more money than redbook suggests. for example the only 2 6.0's ive heard of recently are advertised for $390k (which is rediculous money to be sure, and they wont fetch that in the end either), but this is also an SE, which makes it quite desireable. however IMO i think the gold is gross. If i could get an early Diablo at red book, there'd definatly be one sitting in my driveway, but i doubt i could really get a 94 model for $135k, or even a 91 model for that price, where red book says $119k as for the Murci, i beleive a good 04 car woudl leave a dealer at a little above $400k so $360 would be about wholesale perhaps even a little less. again, im curious what the 360 will bring.
could someone get down there and check her out over the weekend and advise if it's a clean car , no dings etc ? http://www.pickles.com.au/auctiontt.html you need to punch in sydney , prestige vehicles on the web site wonder what they will get since this one is an 02 for 400K ? http://www.drive.com.au/used/search/results.aspx?from=4&m=LAMBORGHINI%7cMURCIELAGO
I think ive seen that thing one the road, driven in anger. And parked outside Star City quite a few times. There might be another one in Sydney somewhere, but i wouldnt buy it. The one time out of 2 times ive seen it, it was getting its Ring hole revved out of it..
Are they even changing hands?? I think ive seen 2 in the Unique Cars that have been for sale for a long time.............same price i think. They mustnt be budging on the price or no one has made them offers? The 2 red Diablo's.
you want to baby a car then buy a babied car. otherwise as long as maintenance and condition are all to your satisfaction, i don't see the problem with 'properly used' cars.
True. Im not that against it. Just something pisses me off when i see an exotic car getting it's complete ring revved out on George Street in front of 100's of people. Only to stop again at the red light 40m down the road. And to take off in Smoke again. Everyone's reaction on the street was surprisingly like "Wanker"...
well, compared to what most people think a car should do, yes! most people i know (think that i'm cra-a-a-zee yeah ) wince when i hit 5k rpm coz they think i'm 'thrashing' the car.
that car was actually at 429 for the last 3 months, and they just dropped it to 399 this week. IMO thi car will bring them around $370k ish, possibly cheaper if theyre motivated to move it. I personally would want a Murci in Green or black.
Man I want that Diablo SE. I think you can throw redbook out on this occasion. This car is one of 20 in this colour (worldwide) and 40 total SE's worldwide. The last one is at the Lamborghini factory (so make that 19 on the market worldwide), and I have been in love ever since I saw it. You've got to see it in person, it is the best gold colour. I didn't realise Australia got any SE's. Can't imagine there would be any others maybe 1 more.
Q.. Have you been down to Euromarque lately. Any idea what they are asking for the Murcie in there? Is Ice blue though, not quite orange but very nice.
Both look nice, but the Murci in Pearl Orange is a knockout. AND, it is e-gear AND, low Kms AND re-po. Someone please buy it - you'd be mad not to!
