I am looking for a AP Royal Oak Offshore, and it seems like these watches are in high demand. I wanted to get a limited edition carbon fiber Alinghi or a Rubens Barrichello II and they told me no way, all of them are already spoken for. They told me I have to be on a wait list for the next model and it could be years. wtf! I already waited years for my car now I have to wait years for a watch. Does anyone have any contacts to get Audemars Piguets?

Exactly if you are willing to pay $40k for a 20K watch yes you can get one, I lo ve the ROO but they are way too expensive for what they are, I'd rather buy a Richard Mille, or another watch whith more complications, at least a perpetual calendar. I think they are way overpriced, even for the 20K steel watches. The gold ones are going for like 80k that's crazy, you can even get a tourbillon for that price. If they were going for retail I'll get one, but theres no way I'm paying that kind of premiums. I'm in for the new gold alinghi, let's see if I can find one on retail, they are making way more of this than barrichellos II.

Or, go to its sister website watchnet.com and then its Trading Post, in there many reputable sellers around the world can get you any AP you want in no time.
