    It appears you can get a 05 or 06 with about 50k miles of either for under $30k with a 100k mile warranty. I know the VW has a steel body making heavier, but has anyone here had experience with both care to shed some higlights and lowlights of both?


    All things being equal i like the VW interior, audi exterior, and VW "isnt that a $20k passat"

    The Audi is a great car. I owned a W12 Phaeton, it's a world class car with a VW badge. The Phaeton is nearly as good as the Bentley.

    Hello Im pretty sure the Bentley is based on the Phaeton. VW owns them.

    Their built in the same damn factory. I think the Phaeton is a great example of brand snobbery.

    Don't you mean the Bentley is a great example of brand snobbery? The Phaeton is fairly unassuming, for all its technical brilliance and luxury. :)
