Rumor circulating a while back about VW/Audi/Porsche group all racing in different series.

Porsche supposedly thinking about coming back to F1

Audi already owns LeMans so let them stay there.

VW rumored a while back to be in talks with NASCAR.....

 

+1....I'd dive off the track if I saw that bearing down on me on the Mulsanne straight....

the side profile looks awful, with that giant dorsal fin. lots of ad space though

 

I hope its fast, because damn, it sure is ugly!

I hate the dorsal fin and near complete lack of tumblehome on the sides of the cockpit. Looks too much like one of those ugly ALMS cars.

Some of the other bits are impressive though.

I would fully expect to see Darth Vader behind the wheel of that thing.

 

Good looking car, but I think I like the open air cars better.

 

Don't like the fin either, but don't think they had a choice under the new rules. The driver seems very close to the front of the car to me, but perhaps that's just an illusion from the photo. I do like the coupe - presumably the race car won't be in black since that's been their pattern in the past, but it does look wicked.

 

Not very attractive at all, considering the great open air designs Audi had prior to this.

 

I think the footbox has to be behind the center line of the front wheels, so it's probably just the picture.

I like the closed roof, but that fin, ugly and was there a wheel/tire size change? The new tires seem to have alot more sidewall?
