Audi R8 Spotted!

Nice spot. I am interested to see what one of these looks like in person.

 

I wasnt even aware that it was out yet. I cant wait to see that car. Looking forward to see how it comepetes with the rest.

 

My 00.2 it's not worth the money.
in a year or so price will drop down.
for 120-125 you can get a Ferrari 360 for 130k a lambo gallardo.

im thinking i might actually jump back in now that tuners are getting behind the car. I love tuning cars....check these two bad boys out. Both would smoke a 360 or gallardo....

Plus with the RS4 in the stable also, might be able to get some sort of economies of scale on tuning two of the same engine.

but how dose it handle on a track?
we all know a 360 is not a 0-100 car, but once you open her up forget about it.
+ i'll put a 360 on a track with an R8 i want to see what it can do.

I think the R8 would obliterate the 360 on the track in general. It really depends on the track you are on and the drivers.

Plus if you were driving the 360, id put all the money on the r8, cause you'd probably be out the night before partying you a$$clown. Thats my new favorite word. I am going to go around calling everyone a$$clowns.

P.S. In all fairness, the r8 is a newer car than the 360. Now a challenge stradale, thats a different story...

P.P.S. the challenge stradale pulled a 7:58 around the ring. Normal 360s pull about 8:09. I just cant find the times for the r8.

Just got a call from my dealer today regarding the R8.

They have a number of allotment available at list so let me know if anyone is interested and I'll steer ya in the right direction.

Also just heard that they have an Ibis White RS4 available with 2k miles. 1 of 6 made in that color. Nice!

 

yea i saw one the other day .. it stopped by on a tow truck cause it was getting delievered .. supossedly first one in the country that was sold .. it was silver .... gorgeous car

 

That was an Audi VIP delivery. I'm picking mine up in Ingolstadt on the 24th... if I can get away for a few days.

The first review I read said it blew away the New Porsche. It had me sold on the car. I would definetly wait for the price to give a bit. I'm sure the dealers are going to gouge the price the first year or so..

 

Just order the part from a dealer in Europe.
