    I thought it great that Audi was 1-2 at Road America despite the accusations and changes to their cars!!! Obviously they have the superior car despite the complaining.

    This is not true. Audi withdrew from rallying because of the spectators. When race cars are sliding sideways at 100+ mph along a dirt road no car will have THAT much grip, awd or not. Moreover, nothing says "Darwin Award hopeful" more so than standing there right in the middle of the road and miss the car by inches. Audi didn't want the guilt of killing spectators so they left.

    When (if) spectators grow a brain cell and find safer ground, Audi may make a comeback.
