    I replaced the rear section of the stock exhaust on my '78 308 GTS with a used Stebro from fellow Fchatter johng. It's definitely louder with a deeper exhaust note. Standing behind the car at idle, you can feel the rumble in your chest. Right now, it's open with no tip inserts, but I plan on getting a set from Stebro so I can fine tune the sound level.

    I have had a stebro for 12 years & just took out the resonators a few years ago, It sounds like a big block! I like it so much better without

    Do you still have the resonators and are you willing to sell them? For some reason, I've not been able to get these ordered directly from Stebro.

    Give this a go it's my custom made exhaust it's a short vid and the camera work ain't that crash hot. Had to get rid of that OEM muffler way to heavy for me my new muffler comes in at 9 kilo's

    I have a lightsnake mic & decided to try & record my oem muffler to a laptop. I figured if it came out good, I could try & record while driving. I have to say the recording came out terrible. I hear all the hiss, pops, squeaks, sqwaks, pings, belt noises that somehow I miss while driving her or even standing near her. I guess I'm biased.

    I have to try again. I know there's a burble in there somewhere.
