Audrain Concours and Motor Week is coming up 9/28-10/1; it's a quality, well-done event that draws a lot of great cars, and the setting right on the coast is fantastic.

I'll be there for the C&C on Saturday and the Concours on Sunday, volunteering in some capacity for one or both of those days.

Here's a link to the event threads from the past couple years:

Well, ****. Just 2 days ago it was shaping up to be a perfect weekend, too. If this holds true, I'm expecting the Fort Adams meet on Saturday to be canceled just like last year. Sunday should be fine for the concours although the field might be soggy.

At least it will be warmer than last year...

That really does suck, forecast I just saw is calling for 1.5" rain between Friday and Saturday, heaviest on Friday. Hopefully it stays clear for Sunday.

Concours was pretty raw last year for sure.

The concours went off pretty well it seems, fantastic selection of cars (about 180-185 on Sunday was the official tally), though the Saturday C&C was cancelled on account of rain.

Here’s a few pics from the event, the 290MM of Brian Ross was outstanding and won its class. Have some great sounding video of that car.

The sodden ground was a real challenge for set up the day before, thankfully they have a landscaping crew available on short notice to deal with those issues…there are a lot of moving logistical parts to putting a show like this together.

Went down for Fri/Sat, and had a blast. Save for a decent shower Fri afternoon while at the tennis HOF field , had a great time with young kids in tow. One of these years we'll get to see the Sat AM C&C go off.

Yeah I haven't seen the C&C yet either. This year it was supposed to be huge, with something like 800 cars registered, plus they moved the Youngtimers event to that day on account of it being rain canceled from the Saturday of the previous weekend. Glad to hear you had a good time with your kids in spite of any weather!

I went in 2021 when the weather was perfect. Hundreds of cars including numerous classic Ferraris. Definitely a big bummer it has been canceled in both years since.

Many of the cars in the Bellevue street display immediately afterward came directly from the C&C, and some of the concours cars were at the C&C too.

I just went to the Concours in 2021, and that was a great show. Solid Ferrari entries, too.

My understanding is what they would usually do is have the cars on the Tour on Saturday stop by the C&C before heading to Bellevue Ave, which hasn't happened since 2021 because of the C&C getting rained out both years. Cool thing is rain or shine, the Tour at least has gone off on schedule in 2022 and 2023. I think the big concern with the C&C was the rain making for a very muddy event, and the cars destroying the lawn - for sure it was difficult trying to mitigate the mud at the Concours this year.

Fingers crossed for better weather next year.

My car was in the concours in 2022 for show but I participated in the Tour. Torrential rain, harder than this year, soaked the interior because we had to keep the side windows cracked to reduce windshield fogging. The next owner may want to replace my carpet! I felt bad for all the cars that had no tops or side curtains,, but they were spiffed up in time to receive their awards.

I joined several of the winners from this year's concours on the New England 1000. Nice to see vintage cars charging down back-country roads, being used the way they should.
