Planning a trip next month to Italy, but just talked with the dealer and they say the factory is closed in Aug, no tours. Yet here online it seems you can buy tickets and there's seats available?

    Disponibilità posti navetta Ferrari

I heard the Pagani factory is nearby too, has anybody here visited?

    Thanks!

Where does it say that's a factory tour: nowhere - its a ride near Fiorano track

Pagani might be closed as well as Ducati etc.. August is a popular time for holiday.

What you are looking at is the museum portion NOT the factory. The factory does not sell tickets to the public and tours are free of charge.

Much of Italy shuts down for the entire month of August for a national vacation holiday.

"you’ll head inside the Fiorano test track proving ground and drive down Viale Enzo Ferrari, the avenue that runs through a complex of production facilities and other buildings."

So the factory is closed but the road down the middle is not - and Fiorano is shut August 1-16

Well I get there the 17th so I can still catch Fiorano. ok so it sounds like the 'factory' tour is a 'drive by the factory' tour. Anyway if it's closed, I guess that's the best I can do...

At least I've seen inside the factory on 'How it's Made' :)

The Ferrari Factory (all F1 based activity) is forced to close in August per the F1 rules for 3 weeks...I'm guessing that's what they're referring to.

Pagani 'factory' is awesome and definitely worth a visit as well as the Schedoni facilities

August shut down in Italia is standard procedure.

BMW in Germany closes in August as well. They stop manufacturing cars and use the time for retooling. It's been that way as long as I can remember.

Lambo factory is far more interesting, but it's probably closed too. August is the perfect month to go somewhere not called Europe.

I was there last August (unfortunately was the best time for us to go). Make sure you test-drive a Ferrari (several rental places there). It sure will put a smile on your face.
