August 22-23 Charitable Driving Event from Denver to Snowmass, Colorado

3rd Annual Drive for the Kid's, benefitting The Children's Hospital Sports Program (Denver, Colorado) for Children w/ Physical Disabilities.

Drive with other exotics from Denver to Snowmass Village for a weekend of fun and great touring August 22-23, 2009.

In 1968 The Children's Hospital Sports Program (TCHSP) became the first ski program in the country for children with disabilities. TCHSP participants have physical disabilities ranging from amputations and spinal cord or brain injuries to long-term illnesses and conditions like cerebral palsey, cancer and spina bifida. For many of these kids, it is their first opportunity to move fast enough to feel the wind in their hair, and have the freedom of speed and control that we all take for granted in our everyday lives. that freedom traslates to self confidence, self esteem, and all the other "self" words critical to a brighter future for these children. TCHSP offers year round involvement in leisure pursuits such as skiing, boarding, golfing, and fishing. Over 100 children and families are able to enjoy these unique opportunities each year due to charitable contributions and events such as the Drive for the Kids tour in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Open to all makes and models of automobiles.

Tour begins in Morrison, Colorado on Sat Aug 22nd, at the Ship Rock Grill, 18300 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, Colorado, and spend the day saturday on a planned route, lunch included, to the destination of Snowmass Colorado where it will end with dinner and wine tasting held at the Stonebridge Inn in Snowmass.

$50 per each additional passenger
(includes: registration, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Wine Tasting on the 22nd...the 23rd is up to you)
