How come we don't have F1 watching parties in Austin?
Just pick a place and announce it, that's all we do up here. The first several will be lightly attended, but regular scheduling will bring it around.
a cruise down to SA via Hill Country roads is always a nice drive, even going over to Houston via 290 is ok, but taking that INSANE madness they call I35 where you are just about guaranteed a wreck or construction and sitting in traffic for HOURS? no thank you. nothing personal, I wish we were closer as you guys have a lot of activities.
Al, along with other S2000 and folk, we have a party each F1 week and watch it on DVR'ed replay when we want to. We also try our best to cook up grub with the taste of the hosting country. This evening it will be a few Malay dishes one includes ox tail soup.
big screen tv? I keep hoping some of the guys with big houses and 50" plasmas will start hosting F1 watching parties.
