Who's going to the breakfast tomorrow? FCA Breakfast: Saturday, Feb. 26, at 9 AM, at Tuscany Market. This is in the Riata development off 183 northbound service road past the Oak Knoll exit. http://www.tuscanymarketandvineyard.com/directions.htm
Unfortunately, I have a horse show tomorrow. If you could pm us with future dates, we will definitely check the calendar and try to make it sometime! Carol
Hey David, I am going to really try and go. I have not been to one of the breakfasts and if it is pretty I am taking the Boxer.........WE need to get out of the garage and house.......... Dana
D.Scott sends out emails to everyone in the club at least 2-3 times on these and other events. I rec'd a reminder yesterday myself. I was just asking who's coming as I was thinking of being able to come with Tonya. Are you not on the FCA Hill Country list? If not PM me with your email and I'll forward to Dave to get you setup. d
YES you DO. ;-) Not sure if I can get T out of bed in the a.m. supposed to go out for Sushi tonight and that means lots of Saki. d
Just checked the weather........... Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms.......... Fannie will not be getting out tomorrow.......... So I doubt that I will even go that far North.......... So let Tonya sleep. It sounds like it will be a good day for it!!! Dana
OT/ Your "horse show" comment caught my wife's attention as she looked over my shoulder at what I was doing. She has 12 horses with 3 more on the way. FYI, my avatar is one of my wife's stallions. What do you ride and what show is tomorrow?
An Equestrian "jumping" event down in Boerne. I heard a couple of FCA club members picking up cars at my shop talking about their wives having an event down there, thus, missing the breakfast. david
Will PM you with email address. If you have things already on your sked, please let us know so we can check and mark our calendars. Thanks much, Carol
Your avatar stallion is very beautiful. I don't ride due to the fact that mine are too small - I show minis. We have about 45 horses which include 4 mini donkeys and two full size Appaloosa mares (one is a granddaughter of Goer). Show today was a performance only AMHR (American Miniature Horse Registry) in Corsicana. This year I am driving a mare in Country Pleasure under (meaning under 34" at the last hair of the mane - Lucy is 33.25") and my gelding that has gotten a couple National All-Star awards in Country Pleasure Over (over 34" to 38" - Tuffy is 35") is being driven in Pleasure Over this year. I only have one mare bred for this year. The show today in Boerne must have been at the Rose Palace - there's a mini show there in July - talk about being hot! Please pass along to your wife how beautiful the stallion is. Have a great day - the rain has just about stopped here (we really don't need any more) and it's actually getting brighter. Carol
My wife said your minis must be very nice (we used to have a neighbor who raised minis - Champion Farms in Georgetown). Thank you for the compliment regarding Cielo. He is very handsome with a wonderful temperament. He won the Belgian Warmblood US 2yr old futurity last year so, of course, my wife is rather fond of him. I hope your show went well.
