    Man... some bad ass cars down on South congress today (mostly Rat Rods, but TONS of bad ass cars as well). Should be pretty insane on Sunday too. If you are in Austin, you NEED to roll down congress and check it out. This scene is really blowing up! Some really amazing cars parked along Congress, from Oltorf, down past Riverside and many others constantly rollin though there. May seem kind of weird at times but really worth the trip. Rolled the Viper through there Sat afternoon and had some fun. Saw a pretty blue Lambo Gallardo parked and tons of creative Rat Rods.

    Participants did indeed travel from several states away I was watching them as I went back to work Friday morning, much the worse for wear from the Broken Spoke gig and closing down Trophies at 2AM.......that little bartender there is a sweetheart, she knows my brand, and I only hit the place once a week!

    It was a big deal in Hot Rod circles....

    I drove by there on Saturday also. Didn't see the Lambo but I think I saw Jesse James' Mercury near the Continental Club.

    It was bad ass indeed. It is part of a show, the Lone Star Roundup. They have been doing it for 5 or 6 years now. Sat morning is the show at the Travis County Expo Center and then the cruise is at night on S. Congress. Huge rockabilly scene. As my girl and I were walking back to 6th street after the cruise we saw a dark blue Murcielago cruise by. I didn't expect seeing that out there. We met some cool people and they took us cruising on congress in their 48 Plymouth. I've been twice and will definetely keep going. tons of fun, good music, cool cars, and lots of booze!

    Oh okay then it was probably you, sorry it was a dark color and I had lots to drink so dark blue and black look kind of the same LOL. I'm sure there were people talking sh**, screw 'em your car looked great and driving around other cars you really notice how WIDE the a$$ of the Murcies are.
