    David Moore hosted the HCFC year end tech session at Moorespeed Race Engineering Wednesday evening. The night's theme was a recap of the major Historic Race events in 2006.

    I was experimenting with some no flash shots, some turned out pretty well, others didn't. Yes, it was a good turn out. Very interesting evening, especially the Goodwood race.

    you bet David. I want to keep experimenting with no flash. i like the more natural look, but its hard when you get movement.

    I use flash sometimes and other times not as a flash can overexpose or if there is dust in the air make a bad shot. Photoshop helps a lot in lighting conditions. I can show you how to manually manipulate photo light levels sometime when you are by the shop. Yes, I play with that too as I do all our website.....although it needs a major overhaul and I don't have time anymore.....you know got married last year ;-)

    AH! was wondering where those spots came from. they looked like rain drops. I'll have to remember that next time.
    I have PS and used it on the pics, but am still learning.
    so I've heard....luck dog

    Are those spots really from dust? SLR cameras don't do that but every non-SLR digital camera I have used does do it. Even the two new Nikons I just bought have those spots in the darker shots.

    Yes, the light is refracting off crap in the air. You guys know how clean we try to keep the shop, but it still gets dust. Right now its Cedar Pollen!!!!
