I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a burger. Not just any burger. It has to be a big juicy hunk of cow served in a building that predates Prohibition. Ideally it would come with round cut fries and a view of the Guadelupe River.

Luckily, we know just such a place. January's drive will be to the Grist Mill restaurant in historic Gruene, Texas. Because of the holidays, we're moving it to the end of the month.

This time we're going to have a dedicated camera car to try to get some good footage of everyone. We'll also be getting opinions on how we can make the drives better, and feedback on length and destinations.

    Date: January 28, 2006
    Time: 9:30 am
Where: Meet at Starbucks on Great Hills Trail (next to Saks)

As always the drive is open to sports cars of all makes and models, so invite all of your friends with Enzos and Carrera GTs. For more info, take a gander at www.hillcountrydrives.com

All of my friends sold there Carrera GT's so I guess I'll pass. Would hate to drive the Mini all by myself that day with no company.

I've gone on a few of these Hill Country drives with this group. There are usually only a handful of Italian makes but the drives are plenty of fun and nicely organized.

Thanks for the kind words Mr. Hayes!!

We usually are a little short on the Italian side, so it would be great to actually see some out on the road!!

Yea, I was gonna get the Jalpa, but I started thinking about how hard I drive cars. The Jalpa is more of a collector car, not a drag car, so I started looking into Vipers, which is something I always admired. I picked up a red 94' RT/10 at the begining of the year. It was pretty much an even swap from the Lambo replica + a few thousand bucks. I feel like I got a GREAT deal! I'm not sure if I'll make the cruise, but I'll stay tuned to the date. -FROG-
