Fellow Drivers, We'd like to invite everyone to join us a Hill Country drive on November 5th. As with all of our drives, it is open to all sports cars, and we will have a mix of Lotus, Viper, Ferrari and other makes. The weather should be the best of the year and the group should be just as nice. This is the event you don't want to miss. What: We start in Austin with a meeting and map distribution followed by a photo shoot/meet and greet. We then make our way through the Hill Country of Austin, all the while enjoying the great roads and scenery. We'll make a pit stop in Jonestown for gas and drinks. Then down the long and winding road out to Marble Falls where we will grace the local annual car show with a few extra unexpected cars during lunch. Following the show, we will eat at one of the restaurants on the lake and take in the relaxing lake breeze. Afterwards, we head out to Park Road 4 leading to Inks Lake Park, where we'll stop for a photo shoot. Then east on 29 back to I35 and home. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable day planned full of driving, gawking and eating with some car talk thrown in there as well. I was thinking the same thing. I remember the owner telling me that he went on a cruise with some loti and a yellow Diablo. Do you think he will be attending this time?
From the preliminary info that we have, he will be making it out! The yellow Diablo will be making it out as well!!
I would come out and photograph the event, but the San Antonio Ferrari breakfast is at the same time. Y'all make sure to take lots of pictures.
I was going to go, but I'm selling my Lambo replica now and don't want to drive it much. Also, I forgot about a wedding I am supposed to be in on Sat. Hopefully I can joing the next cruise. Wow! What a great day. About 22 cars showed up for the drive to Marble Falls. The weather was absolutely great and the cars were even better. Two Ferrari's made the event along with one Lamborghini and a bunch of Lotus and Vipers and a few American muscle cars from the 60's.
