We'll take pity on you since you're stuck in that dreary place and let you back in our sandpit - great to hear from you after so long! Hugs to you and KLV.
I tried! I was literally walking over to do that, heard something behind me, turned around to look for a few seconds and then... gone! Never mind wings, I bet that teleporter machine is worth plenty of seconds per lap Next time!
AndrewWA was kind enough to send me these exciting pics from his workplace I can't tell you how grateful I am Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm a bit wary about posting too many work photos as all sorts of stuff in there, ranging from a 166 to Enzos. Plenty of other stuff too, from DB5 Aston and Lambos and Merc SLRs to an old XJ6 and a late model Jeep. Why people pay to store those I don't know. Annual bill will exceed price of car I think! Lots of parts of all shapes and sizes - might pass on some 'taster' photos sometime. Cheers from a surprisingly mild UK... Still out in the new car(s) at the moment, no salt on the roads as yet!
Still heavy though. 1520 kg kerb weight but I would have one even though I'm not sure what you could do with it in Australia besides go to gaol. Too heavy for a track car but 780HP would help. F12tdf
That it is Pap and I think it looks the goods even though it is a new model and the original TdF is a beauty. I am amazed that with all the carbon, titanium etc it is still 400kg (nearly half a ton) heavier than an F40. What does that extra 400kg comprise? Sat nav? Air con? Internal door handles? (F40 has a piece of string), where is that 400kg hiding?
Heya mate, A lot of things I am sure. Here are some of the things I can think of straight away. Airbags, ABS pump, A LOT of extra wiring. A/c system, leather material inside the cab etc. All these little things will soon add an extra 400kg before you know it. Imagine if they didn't use all those light materials, this would have been an 1800kg car.
And it is a "proper" Ferrari - a front engined road car as the commendatore would have preferred to sporn, were he still in charge.
Speaking of real Ferrari s yesterday at the Throttle Shop a red 550 superamerica. But not there this morning...
